TTC920 GPS Tracker Wiring Instructions
Important: For safe and proper installation, it’s recommended to consult a qualified technician, especially when working with a vehicle’s electrical system. Incorrect wiring can damage your vehicle.
This guide details the wiring instructions for the TTC920 GPS tracker.
Wire Functions:
- Red: Permanent live power (supports 10VDC to 30VDC)
- Black (GND): Ground/earth/chassis connection
- Yellow (DIN1): Default ignition detection input. Connect to the vehicle’s ignition wire or an accessory that receives power with the ignition (e.g., stereo).
- Grey (AIN1): Analog input for measuring the exact live voltage of an external device (e.g., generator).
- White (DOUT1): Provides a negative signal output when active. Can be used to control external devices with a relay (converts negative signal to positive, e.g., starter motor cut-off). This digital output can also be remotely activated/deactivated using the “Send Command” section on GPSLive.
Installation Tips:
- You can cut or discard any wires you don’t need.
- If you only require tracking data and no sensors, simply connect the red and black wires.
- Install the device behind a plastic panel with good satellite signal reception. It doesn’t need to be visible outside the vehicle.
- The ideal location is behind the front dash, with the sticker side facing up (where the directional GPS receiver antenna is located)
